Ok..... 3 days until I leave and 10 days until I start my pilgrimage. Just packed and re packed my backpack about 10 times trying to get the weight down. I got it to 18 pounds. I sure hope that that's not to heavy!
If anyone has any special prayer intentions they would like me to pray for during this pilgrimage please send them to me!
Abouna, let's see how you feel about those 18 pounds in a couple of weeks;-) Our Melkite Patriarch has called upon us to pray and fast for peace in the Middle East and for the suffering Christians there. Please remember this intention on your pilgrimage.

I would have loved to meet up with you had you been in NJ any number of days. I only met you once really at the monastery in Valyermo (spelling?). God bless you and buen camino!
